Sona Psychology is a growing private practice in Central London, specialising in addiction, corporate wellbeing and high-performing professionals. We are looking for a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist or Counselling Psychologist, ideally BUPA-registered (or willing to become so), to join our small and supportive team.


About the role

You will provide individual therapy (online and in-person). You will have the opportunity to develop specialist skills in areas such as substance use, chemsex, men’s mental health, sex therapy, CBT, existential and psychodynamic approaches.

  • Job title: Self-employed Associate (part-time or full-time)

  • Location: Central London clinic + remote / online work

  • Hours: Flexible within Monday–Friday, typically between 9am and 8pm.

  • Application deadline: Apply by 5pm, Friday 28 March 2026.

  • Client group: Adults, often from corporate and professional backgrounds, presenting with stress, anxiety, depression, addiction/substance use, men’s mental health issues, relational difficulties and performance concerns

  • Caseload: While we require you to carry as few as 5 and as many as 15 clients per week we can be flexible within this range to meet your needs. This can always be adjusted as you go along.

  • Salary: To begin, you will earn £65-99 per client (generally ranging from £1,300-£5,000 monthly depending on your caseload).



Person specification

  • HCPC-registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist

  • Eligible for, or already holding, BUPA registration (other insurer registration welcomed)

  • Experience or strong interest in working in mental health with corporate clients, addiction, men’s mental health or related areas

  • Comfortable working autonomously within a small, high-quality service, with a strong commitment to ethics, confidentiality and evidence-based practice
